We believe that any archer can reach their goals if they practice hard enough, believe in themselves, and keep their eyes on the gold. This summer, the Lancaster Archery Academy is hosting an Advanced Camp to help youth archers do exactly that. Join us from July 23 through July 25 for three days of advanced coaching, group activities, and analysis of mental game. Archers will have the opportunity to meet new friends, and get world-class coaching in a relaxed, positive atmosphere.
In order to be eligible for this camp, archers must be able to shoot their full FITA competition distance, and be able to provide an official Indoor FITA tournament/JOAD pin shoot score of 240 for recurve, and 240 for compound (inner ten). Alternatively, archers may provide an official Outdoor FITA tournament/JOAD pin shoot score of 270 for recurve, and 300 for compound (both scores to be shot at full competition distance). Indoor scores are to be out of 300; outdoor scores are to be out of 360. The camp will run from 9AM-5PM on Friday, 9AM-6PM on Saturday, and from 9AM-2PM on Sunday. Lancaster Archery will provide archers with lunch for the duration of the camp.
We believe any student can learn how to shoot a bow accurately, no matter their age, level of experience, or physical stature. No matter where you start, there will come a point where you have mastered the basic fundamentals, and begin looking for the next step. The Intermediate 1 class is that step. Throughout this six-week course, we’ll be looking at different skills and form mechanics that will make your bow work well for you. Sign up today, and begin refining your technique!
Drawing and shooting a bow can be one of the most satisfying feelings anyone can ever experience. For many, however, even once they have gained a solid foundation of archery knowledge, there can still be form inconsistencies that prevent them from achieving the level of accuracy they might desire. The Intermediate 2 class is designed to give the archer an in-depth look at how to draw their bow more efficiently, and get the most out of their shot process. Sign up for our class, and find out just how accurate you can be!
It is our belief that anyone can be successful at tournament-style archery. Whether your ambitions are local, national, or even global, refinement of your mental and physical techniques is a must if you want to achieve your goals. The Intermediate 3 class provides fine-tuning to your mental and physical games that will help give you an edge. Whether you are looking to have a friendly competition with friends, or looking to enter your first tournament, take our class, and make your goals a reality.
